Retaining the texas rainbow
Retaining the Texas Rainbow is a conservation awareness campaign revolving around the proper handling and regulations of the rainbow trout in the Guadalupe River. The awareness campaign is a mock awareness campaign that the Guadalupe River Trout Unlimited or Texas Parks and Wildlife could run to increase awareness of the fishing regulations and proper techniques needed to extend the rainbow trout's life expectancy in the Guadalupe River.
Mission
The mission of the Retaining the Texas Rainbow project will be to extend awareness to all anglers visiting the Guadalupe River by using different media-driven communication techniques to explain proper handling techniques and regulations.
Vision
The ultimate vision for this project is to create a way to help increase the life expectancy of trout in the Guadalupe River. By providing more information on how to take care of the trout we can hopefully work towards having a more self-sustaining trout fishery.
